thoughts about ish
Alright to start, yes I do like Twilight, preferably the book. The movie was really well done and when I have the movie review page up you can read about my opinions on that. This is really about Twilight in general.
I admit there are some parts of my life where I constantly include Twilight ideas and maybe even characters. For example, my story; I’m writing a fanfic, but that’s no big deal. I’m really good at writing; I might as well put my creativeness to good use. And it’s an original idea. I’m coming up with the plot on my own. I’m not one of those fanfic writers who use the same exact ideas from the books that they’re basing their story on. I have a new idea. That’s before Twilight. And I’m even going to make it so it fits into Twilight. I’m not going to say that it’ll be a perfect prequel, but it’ll be good enough for me. I have one poster. That’s it, nothing else is Twilight related in my room; besides the books and my DVD. However, there are people out there who think it’s real! It’s a book. It came from someone’s imagination. It’s not real. It’s not a way of life. Edward and Bella aren’t real. They came to Stephanie Meyer in a dream. I know that sounds crazy, but all of you who are “looking for their Edward.” He’s not real, when are you going to realize that! It’s the same with Jacob, and Bella, and Emmett, and Rosalie, and Alice, etc. They’re just characters in a fictional book. I’m honestly getting really sick of everyone and they’re crazy obsession. You can go ahead and say I’m obsessed, but truth is, I’m not. I’ve bought Breaking Dawn, but I haven’t even read it yet. I want to, I want to know what happens, even though I already do, but I’m so sick of hearing about it, I probably don’t need to read it. Not until the summer at least when I’m away from people. Plus, I only have the books, one poster, and the movie; I’m clearly not obsessed. Then there’s this whole issue on the Team Jacob or Team Edward situation. Really, you guys have to choose? Obviously, Bella’s going to choose Edward. It’s just how it’s written. Even if there was a still a chance that she would end up with Jacob, or someone else for that matter, I wouldn’t be on either Team. For one, Edward is just such a whiney vampire! After nearly 100 years you would think that he would get over himself. Honestly, Bella obviously doesn’t care about whether or not he’s a vampire and she believes that he has a soul so why doesn’t he just shut his stupid mouth. And secondly, he already left her. Sure he says he’ll never do it again, but the point is he did it. What if Bella had never jumped off the cliff? Do you really think they would have gotten back together? NO! Edward just needs to man up; I mean he is almost 100 years old. Then for Jacob, he could do sooo much better! Ugh, Bella is whiney too, her and Edward go perfect together just because of that quality. Jacob actually cares about her, and she chooses the stupid vampire who can’t even keep her warm in the forest. Jake spent so much time on her, and she wasn’t even conscious of what was going on pretty much. The whole time Edward was gone, she was miserable. Jake tried to help, but no, she just wouldn’t see it. She couldn’t get over him. Jake could have done better. He’s obviously smart, he knows how to put together a car and fix motorcycles, but just because he claimed to be in love with someone who loved someone else who wasn’t even there, he turned out to be pathetic. And I love Jacob. He’s such a good character, there are so many things about him that are so much better than Edward (he doesn’t act like a five year old, for instance), and yet Bella never saw that. So it’s really her fault. I love the Twilight Series, but I do have my own opinions on it. People are trying to turn it into a life style. I’m sorry you can’t do that. It’s dumb. And yes, I got into when I found out about the movie and because of one character, but that character wasn’t Bella, Jacob, or Edward. It was James and the person playing him Cam Gigandet. I originally Twilight was dumb. A vampire falling in love with a human, to me it’s already been done. In Buffy the Vampire Slayer; she fell in love with Angel, who was a vampire with a soul, and Spike, the guy who was just there for her. It’s all been done for me. So I really wanted nothing to do with Twilight until I found out about Cam Gigandet. Now I really do think that if I had known his character was only at the end of the book, I may not have read it. But I’m glad that I didn’t. It got me to read a new series. I was able to start reading again. I love reading, and I just needed something to bring me back. Twilight is what did it for me. But remember, I’m just Jackie, and I don’t know crap.
