thoughts about ish
My last post was two Mondays ago, I’m a horrible blogger. But I hope whoever read this last liked the little updates on the Teen Choice Awards, I had fun writing it.
So since that last week I have: finished band, gone to my sisters, done a birthday party on two hours of sleep, baseball game, Abbey’s Birthday, and the mall with Megan to meet with House X Teachers. I guess I’ll start with my sister’s house. I had been looking forward to last Saturday since at least the Fourth of July. The main reason being I was going to be able to drive out to my sister’s house all by myself. I woke up at ten thirty, not that thrilling. I had to clean the kitchen and living room in order to get the car. Then I washed the car because I had been dying to do it. After all that I had to take my Driving East CD to James since the copies I made him didn’t work for him. It wasn’t until I got to his house and he asked if Shamoo was on my shirt that I realized I hadn’t changed out of my car washing clothes. I also really needed to get in shower since I had dirt all along my leg. I got back at about three and got in the shower… I did all my necessary shower things. When I got out and dressed I got back onto Facebook and Jesse IM’d me. I talked to him for the entire two hours that I got ready before Sam and Bo came for me to follow them. Driving on the highway by myself was weird, but I would gladly do it again to get to my sister’s house. Saturday was a lot of fun. Missy also said that I hang out with them too much (but not in a bad way). Oh, and it was Missy’s Grad Party, that’s why I was there. Jesse brought me Monster which made my night. It didn’t last very long when I was finished with it though. Jesse, Kristin, and I didn’t go to sleep until 7:00 or 7:30, and I had to be up at 9:00. Yay for two hours of sleep. I left at nine thirty and made it home perfectly fine. Then at about 12:30 dad and I headed out to yet another party; this one being for his friend’s kids. We hung out there for a good six hours. It was a fun a party, even though I had only two hours of sleep. Dad also wanted me to drive home, I refused due to the amount of sleep I had. I fell asleep fairly early that night. Day three was the beginning of double practices. But it was also the day that Megan and I got to catch up with a couple of House X teachers. Band was okay, really tiring and hot; then the catch up was a lot of fun. Megan and I spent a lot of time looking around for stuff. She also got a really cute sweatshirt. I came home and watched the Secret Life to complete my night. Day four was another day of band. Plus I went to Katelyn’s house to chat for my lunch. Then after band I went and picked up Megan so we could go to Abbey’s Sweet Sixteen. I saw Ryan and talked to him since I hadn’t seen him all summer or talked to him in about a week. And we were going to the baseball game the next day. Abbey’s party was fun. She really liked my snickerdoodles. Like I said Day five consisted of going to the baseball game with Ryan. It was soo much fun. I had a hotdog, with stadium mustard, I split a slushie with Ryan, and I influenced his cousin Emma to have Jhonny Peralta as her favorite player. We sat right behind first plate and Gimenez was first baseman that night. It should have been Ryan Garko, whose shirt I bought at the end of the night, but the Indians traded him. I had the perfect baseball game experience, minus the fact that we lost, and had a good time. “It was a perfect way to end the summer” as Ryan said as we walked down the street to get to the car. I even loved that it rained while we were there. The rest of the week consisted of reading every chance I got and band. I’ve spent every second I’ve had reading Jane Eyre these past few days. I spent Saturday, Sunday and until about 4:00 today reading. It wasn’t all that bad either, it was just tedious. But now I’m finished with that. All I have to do is the pre-reading, which shouldn’t be too hard, just google it. (I know, I know, I should have done the pre-reading BEFORE I read the book.) School starts in a like a day. I don’t even know where this summer went. I wish I had done more… but considering I enjoyed my summer and the little things I did do, I wouldn’t do it any other way. Check back around Wednesday, there should be a first day of school update. Until then remember, I’m Jackie and I don’t know crap.

Band, Harry Potter a Second Time, (Random TCA Updates) Jane Eyre, Driving, and Life in General8/10/2009 So I just really want to apologize for not writing as often as I want to. I really haven’t been busy; I’ve just had nothing to write about. Well I’ll give you an update on my life. I’ve been doing pretty good. I’ve been driving around and actually doing stuff instead of staying home all the time. (Ellen DeGeneres just won “Choice Twit Award” on TCA, best moment ever.) So I’ve been good.
Like I said two weeks ago, I got my license. I’ve driven in the dark, the rain, out to the movies, bowling, out to Rocky River Reservation, and band. (Zac Efron only won three awards because he’s pretty; that’s why all the girls voted for him.) I’ve yet to drive out to my sister’s but that’s coming up. Jane Eyre got good. Too bad, I never find the proper time to read. I can’t wait to get to the part where they get engaged. I saw Harry Potter for a second time. (Sean Kingston’s song “Fire Burning” is ridiculously annoying, and yet I can’t stop listening to it.) Watching Dumbledore die a second time is easier than reading about it a second time. I saw it with Mel because it wouldn’t be the same if she saw it with anyone else. I still really liked it. And then I started band. I really do (Joe Jonas just got dared to get all of his hair shaved off on stage… Aaaannnnddddddd Mike Tyson had the honor to do it!) love band. As much as I say I hate it, I will forever have to love it. There are so many people in which I love to be around and I wouldn’t ever take back the decision to came back. We’ve only been back for four days, but I think this season may turn out to be a good one. (Of course Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner won “Fresh Face Female/Male” Awards.) Sure there’s no comptetions, but we still get games and two shows. That’s at least something. And with band comes Guard, obviously, which I couldn’t be happier with. This season for the eight of us looks pretty much (I lied, Joe did not cut his hair… Lies!) promising. I hope I’m not speaking too soon. I should be updating every couple of days now that I’m doing more and more with band/getting ready for school. By the way, school starts on August 26. The first football game is August 28. August 28 is also the same day “The Final Destination” comes out, and guess what! (My Sister’s Keeper won “Choice Summer Movie: Drama”.) It’s in 3D. Oh yeah, you bet I’m ganna see it. I’m ready for winter. (Miley Cyrus won everything she got Nominated for, Everything Hannah Montana related… Eat that “Hannah-Haters!) Well, I guess that’s it. I’m ganna continue watching The Teen Choice Awards :). Keep coming back and remember, I’m Jackie and I don’t know crap. |
