My last post was two Mondays ago, I’m a horrible blogger. But I hope whoever read this last liked the little updates on the Teen Choice Awards, I had fun writing it.
So since that last week I have: finished band, gone to my sisters, done a birthday party on two hours of sleep, baseball game, Abbey’s Birthday, and the mall with Megan to meet with House X Teachers. I guess I’ll start with my sister’s house. I had been looking forward to last Saturday since at least the Fourth of July. The main reason being I was going to be able to drive out to my sister’s house all by myself. I woke up at ten thirty, not that thrilling. I had to clean the kitchen and living room in order to get the car. Then I washed the car because I had been dying to do it. After all that I had to take my Driving East CD to James since the copies I made him didn’t work for him. It wasn’t until I got to his house and he asked if Shamoo was on my shirt that I realized I hadn’t changed out of my car washing clothes. I also really needed to get in shower since I had dirt all along my leg. I got back at about three and got in the shower… I did all my necessary shower things. When I got out and dressed I got back onto Facebook and Jesse IM’d me. I talked to him for the entire two hours that I got ready before Sam and Bo came for me to follow them. Driving on the highway by myself was weird, but I would gladly do it again to get to my sister’s house. Saturday was a lot of fun. Missy also said that I hang out with them too much (but not in a bad way). Oh, and it was Missy’s Grad Party, that’s why I was there. Jesse brought me Monster which made my night. It didn’t last very long when I was finished with it though. Jesse, Kristin, and I didn’t go to sleep until 7:00 or 7:30, and I had to be up at 9:00. Yay for two hours of sleep. I left at nine thirty and made it home perfectly fine. Then at about 12:30 dad and I headed out to yet another party; this one being for his friend’s kids. We hung out there for a good six hours. It was a fun a party, even though I had only two hours of sleep. Dad also wanted me to drive home, I refused due to the amount of sleep I had. I fell asleep fairly early that night. Day three was the beginning of double practices. But it was also the day that Megan and I got to catch up with a couple of House X teachers. Band was okay, really tiring and hot; then the catch up was a lot of fun. Megan and I spent a lot of time looking around for stuff. She also got a really cute sweatshirt. I came home and watched the Secret Life to complete my night. Day four was another day of band. Plus I went to Katelyn’s house to chat for my lunch. Then after band I went and picked up Megan so we could go to Abbey’s Sweet Sixteen. I saw Ryan and talked to him since I hadn’t seen him all summer or talked to him in about a week. And we were going to the baseball game the next day. Abbey’s party was fun. She really liked my snickerdoodles. Like I said Day five consisted of going to the baseball game with Ryan. It was soo much fun. I had a hotdog, with stadium mustard, I split a slushie with Ryan, and I influenced his cousin Emma to have Jhonny Peralta as her favorite player. We sat right behind first plate and Gimenez was first baseman that night. It should have been Ryan Garko, whose shirt I bought at the end of the night, but the Indians traded him. I had the perfect baseball game experience, minus the fact that we lost, and had a good time. “It was a perfect way to end the summer” as Ryan said as we walked down the street to get to the car. I even loved that it rained while we were there. The rest of the week consisted of reading every chance I got and band. I’ve spent every second I’ve had reading Jane Eyre these past few days. I spent Saturday, Sunday and until about 4:00 today reading. It wasn’t all that bad either, it was just tedious. But now I’m finished with that. All I have to do is the pre-reading, which shouldn’t be too hard, just google it. (I know, I know, I should have done the pre-reading BEFORE I read the book.) School starts in a like a day. I don’t even know where this summer went. I wish I had done more… but considering I enjoyed my summer and the little things I did do, I wouldn’t do it any other way. Check back around Wednesday, there should be a first day of school update. Until then remember, I’m Jackie and I don’t know crap.
