Senior Pictures are an experience… But boy am I glad that I don’t have to do it again.
I went to John Michael Photography like the school told us to, and it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed my photographer, Nick, and I really think that I did well on my pictures. Wellll, lets start from the beginning. I figured I would wake up early this morning to get ready and look real nice… That’s not how it happened. I did wake up early, but I didn’t get in the shower and start getting ready until one o’clock. And my pictures were at three. Since it was so hot I had to do my hair first, which I hate doing. I prefer getting dressed and sitting around for a bit… But that was not a possibility this time. Of course I was gross and sweaty while trying to get my make-up done. Then I had a panic because my hair was not cooperating and I didn’t think it looked right. Once I texted my sister saying that I didn’t want to take pictures, it seemed to all fall into place and I felt alright. Dad and I left with almost fifteen minutes to get there and I was so afraid of being late. We showed up just in time and we ended up changing my package because my dress wouldn’t work with the one we had. After “fixing” up my make-up and what not, Nick came out and took me into the studio. The whole thing wasn’t as bad as I was imagining. Nick made the whole thing a lot of fun and really easy. I’m not sure how many pictures I took exactly, but I think they turned out pretty good. We talked about movies and what I was planning on doing after high school and what I’ve been up to this summer. My proofs will come back sometime next week. I really can’t wait. It was a really good time, but I’m glad that I’m done with it. It was a really stressful event. And I’m glad seniors only have to go through this one time.
