thoughts about ish
I know it’s been forever since I last updated this, but I promise I’ve been crazy busy with studying and being a college kid!
Well, for starters, I joined a sorority. I know, some of you may be shocked… I get that from a lot of people. I’m a Kappa Delta (K?) sister now or will be when I get 100% initiated on November 4. It’s really a lot of fun and I’m so glad that I’ve met so many great girls! I can’t wait to spend all four years with them. I’ve been home twice since I moved onto campus. The first was September 23-25 for the Valley Forge Homecoming/Alumni Night. Of course it rained at the game, but I got to see my babies and best friend, megan. I’ve missed Megan a lot and seeing her for even a little bit was a nice change. Also, I saw my girls and the saxophones and my lonely clarinet, Paula. The guard, as always, was my favorite to visit, even though I didn’t actually sit with them the majority of the game. It was the saxophones, Patrick and Danny, Megan and I saw with (plus other Alums who came to the game). I can definitely say I’ve missed all of them. My most recent time home was this past weekend (October 13-16). I came home Thursday and hung out with my dad most of the time. I did do some driving around (thanks to dad for fixing my other baby). We watched Jeopardy and Psych and just hung out. On Friday, I got my hair cut (Too short) and nails done (too cute) and then hung out with dad the whoooooole day. We watched more Jeopardy, Big Bang Theory, and The Lion King! Lemme just tell you, I looooved singing the Lion King songs with him. Saturday morning I spent with him food shopping, but I spent the night with Sammy and then I had dinner Sunday at Aunt Pam’s house. I pretty much had a great weekend and on Sunday I didn’t want to come back to school. It was the hardest good-bye yet. I’m way too sensitive for my own good. The only thing I wish was different is that I didn’t see my babies or other Parma friends. We had homecoming here. It was October 1st. I didn’t go to the dance (yes, those still exist in college), but I did help do Molly and Sarah’s hair. I never pride myself on curling other girls’ hair, but they looked sooooo good! I don’t regret not going, I think staying in was a good idea. We have KDiva coming up. It’s the Kappa Delta date dance on November 5. Also, since I didn’t have anyone to take, one of my sisters found a date for me. Here’s the catch, I don’t know who he is. I’m so nervous! I just want to know who it is. I won’t find out until the dance. Blind Date Alert!!!!! And finally, this week for Kappa Delta is Big Week. Our Bigs (who we don’t know) give their new little (that’s me) gifts all week! It’s really exciting and I can’t wait until Friday at 4 to find out who she is! I just want to know her already!!!! Well, I guesss that’s everything… Until next time (hopefully to inform you of how much I love my big in a few days) I’m still Jackie and I still don’t know crap.
