Tomorrow Noms, Recent Events

First things first: Oscar nominations are due out tomorrow. However, I do have to work tomorrow. Of course, my luck would have me working on one of the most important days of the year. (Maybe just to me.) Therefore I will post the nominees and give my predictions on Wednesday since I won’t have time for it tomorrow.
Second, the month of January really wasn’t that interesting. I got through midterms drama-free (woooh!) and I registered for classes. At this rate I’ll have 4 free periods. Makes for a short day with hard classes (AP English, AP US Gov, College Trig, and Physics) along with some fun (guard and on your own).
It hasn’t snowed recently. I’ve been working. I feel like my life is on repeat. Saturdays, I work. Sundays, I work. Then any random day during the week (except Thursday) I work. I took off Valentine’s Day for Bo’s Birthday; not because it’s Valentine’s Day.
School seems pretty easy right now. I haven’t been having any problems. Except maybe in Math. I’m not sure how well I did on the quiz we had today. But of course, I’ll get over it. I’ll get an A anyway (I hope) because I know it’s possible.
Oh yeah, I brought up Valentine’s Day… Nope, no Valentine this year for Jackie. But that’s usual. I did get some valentines though; dad saw them and thought of me. (Bo also thought me on Sunday. But only just because he saw two Nissan Cubes and remembered how dumb I am for wanting one.) Anyway, February 14th can just be thought of as Bo’s Birthday for now on instead. I still believe that it’s dumb. Why only have one day reserved for telling someone you care? Why do we have to wait for that one day? I would prefer to just tell them whenever. Buy them something whenever I think of them. I know I did Sweetest Day this past year, but I really didn’t like it. And everyone may be thinking “that’s just ‘cause you’re single Jaxx. When you find a boyfriend you’ll love it.” Nope, I had someone for sweetest day and it felt weird. It wasn’t me. Besides I’ve been told my mother felt the same way.
