Yesterday was my last guard practice until August. I would normally be excited for this, but it just means an entire month at home…. That also means probably the bare minimum of communication away from my computer. If I don’t have a mental breakdown it’ll be a miracle.
Tomorrow Dad, Samantha, and I are going to Buca di Beppo’s for Sam’s 21st birthday. I’ve never been there, but I know people who have and they only give it good reviews. I only wish I could do something different with my hair other than poufing my bangs. I really need a hair cut. I went to Melany’s last night after practice. We finished season four of Grey’s Anatomy. I have to see if season 5 (all of it) is on abc.com so we can watch it and she can watch Season 6 at home, by herself on Thursday nights. We woke up and didn’t do much. I watched Parental Control and Room Raiders 2.0 while she took a shower and mowed the lawn. Then while watching Rob and Big we got into a fight over a Clean&Clear commercial. However we had a lot of fun since we hadn’t seen each other in… a week. Yep, that’s right, I was only away from her for a week. Oh, and since when did Hot Topic turn into the “we only have four Harry Potter shirts stuck in the corner” store? Harry Potter used to be all over that place… Now because everyone thinks “Twilight” is real and all the crazy fangirls who would never step foot in Hot Topic otherwise, “Twilight” products have taken over. Well good thing I don’t have the money for a super fantastic Harry Potter shirt because I wouldn’t buy it from HT anymore anyway. Well, thanks for reading.. I can’t believe I’m lacking in the posting. People keep viewing the site and I’m not updating. I just have nothing interesting to post. Trust me you do not want to hear me talk about guard everyday.
I’ve hung out with Melany since summer started once, and hopefully we’ll hang out again sometime this week. And then guard… We started practice last week. There were captain tryouts on Thursday. I was not apart of them. Amanda made captain. I’ve been driving, but my turns are still sucky and I doubt dad will let me take my test any time soon. I just wanted to be driving before the fourth. I have practice all this week from 9:30 to 11:30. Hopefully I’ll update tomorrow or the with in the next couple of days. This week is going to be long, all because I don’t have any plans. Fun week. Keep reading, go back and read old posts. And remember I’m Jackie and I don’t know crap. People have been reading JDKC and I haven’t been updating.
Well, this week has been pretty lazy. I’ve been watching TV, signing up for Facebook, doing summer reading, sleeping ’til noon, and writing. (Oh, and I did some driving.) I can just feel the fat forming to my body. Well I guess I’ll start with summer reading… I’m reading Jane Eyre. I can honestly say I’m really confused. Up until today I didn’t know that it was a love story. Even though I’ve read the back of the book a million times. I have to write chapter summaries after each chapter, there’s 35… I’ve read 3. It’s going to be a long summer. I’m doing a complete re-write of my story. I’ve been re-writing it for a while now, but it wasn’t supposed to be completely re-done. Now I have to rethink the whole thing. That’s okay… I have all summer to do it. Today, I drove from like 11 to 3. We took Pearl Rd all the way out to Brunswick and I decided I wanted to stop and see Uncle Marty since I haven’t seen him since New Years. Then we went to the grocery store, that was horrible. I hate grocery shopping. And I didn’t even get to take the freeway today. Today was an adventure and it was fun. I start practice tomorrow…. Woo Hooo 🙁 I wonder how that’ll go. So until tomorrow (because I’ll definitely have something to say about practice) keep reading and remember I’m Jackie and I don’t know crap. |
