I started writing when I was still in high school.  Now I'm three years post-grad from my Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing, spending a year of my life getting my Masters of Education to teach High School English.  I spent a lot of time away from writing in general which means my blog suffered a lot.  I didn't write much while I was getting my undergraduate degree and I was so busy trying to figure out my life afterwards that I couldn't think of anything good to write unless it was controversial. 
Coming back, I've edited my page a lot.  I've made it to reflect who I am as an adult and not just who I was as a 16 year old who didn't know what the world was really like. I knew back then that the world could be cold and cruel, but I didn't realize how dark and scary it was almost all of the time.
I used to write every day and basically just give recaps of what happened throughout the day (super boring, I know).  Now I write about what is going on in my head or what I care about. I started to post my feelings and the things I've been writing because I don't have a class to do that in anymore. I'm still finding my voice.  I want to share my creative pieces as well as my personal opinions.  
This is who I am - a writer, teacher, soul finding her way.
