This morning I found out that Blink 182 is coming to Cleveland in September. I became all excited, then I found out its on a Wednesday and I’ll most likely have practice. I’m going to find a way to that show. And the main reason being is because Taking Back Sunday is going to be there too! Come on, that’s like the greatest show ever, then add in Weezer and you’ve got the show of the year! Nothing is going to get in my way of seeing Taking Back Sunday live, I’ve been waiting for this day for years.
There’s only 7 more days of school. It doesn’t feel like there should be only 7 more days. ONLY 7 MORE DAYS! It’s crazy. But that’s not including finals, which I still may have to take depending on my OGT scores. I do not want to take my finals. I’m going to need all the time to study for Spanish. And what really is not the greatest thing ever, finals start on a Friday. So it’s not like we’ll have the weekend to study, I’ll be devoting every moment of class getting ready for my Spanish final. I’m really starting to think that I shouldn’t have taken Spanish III. Then Saturday is the day that I have to prove I’m a good enough driver to get my license. Yep, that’s right I’m taking my test on Saturday. I can only hope that it doesn’t rain in the morning, and the weather says that it’s not going to. It better not be lying. And earlier on myspace I said that the movie review would be up tonight, I’m sorry to admit that I kind of lied. I wanted it up tonight, but then I had to type something for Spanish and lost track of time. I promise it’ll be up tomorrow, if not then I will not write on here for a week. Which probably wouldn’t be too bad, well, for you guys anyway. I guess it’s time to call it a night. I’m going to read a little bit then going to bed. Keep checking and remember I’m Jackie and I don’t know crap.

Today was a usual day off from school. I slept in, got on the computer, watched some TV, did some homework, and just lazed around.
The day really wasn’t that interesting. I made some fake brochures for spanish, but that’s basically all I did for school. I had forgotten about a letter I have to write for history to the family that helped fund the Holocaust trip and my math homework. I also found a way that I can have the movie review page up sooner. For now, maybe I’ll find another way to publish it, it will be on JDKC’s blog page. If you look at the top of the page and find the bar that has “Blog”, “About”, and now “Reviews” and click on reviews it has a general overview of what’s going on. Then there’s a subpage that if you click on that it tells you what is going on with “movie” reviews. I still have to finish the Wolverine review and then write Star Trek. So come back tomorrow and hopefully something will be up. I have to write a letter with words that I don’t even understand and do that math homework. Remember I’m Jackie and I don’t know crap. Instead of starting the weekend post off with Friday, we’re going to start with today. I woke up somewhere between 11:30 and 12-noon and walked into dad’s office saying “what’re we doing today?” with no intention of actually doing something. We just sort of hung out and watched horrible made-for-TV movies. And yes, I’m serious when I say horrible. But we found out what motivates me to wash dishes: just tell me you’re going to take me out. Yes, we ended up going out. We had been talking about going to see Star Trek for a second time all week, but didn’t know what day to go. At about 5:30 I said we could go see it tonight, but we usually don’t go to movies past 6. I didn’t care; I wanted to go see Star Trek and said we should go to the 7:30 showing. I did the dishes, took a shower, and did my hair. We got to the theater early, which means we got good seats this time around. The previews were about to start when I asked dad if it was possible that we would get new previews. They started off with “UP” like every other movie. In the middle of the previews came one that, of course, started with the green “This preview has been approved for all audiences” but it also had the “This film has been rated PG” logo at the bottom and in the back of my mind I thought “This is it; this is the preview I’ve been waiting to see on the big screen for months!” And it was the beloved Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince trailer I’ve been dying to see ever since Twilight came out. I really can’t wait ’til it comes out now. Star Trek a second time around was fantastic. I think the movie gets more exciting the more you see it. I think the next time I go to see a movie, I’m just going to look around and find people whose faces light up when the movie starts. I want to know how many people are just as excited as me to be seeing whatever movie it is that’s showing. I also found the tribble that was sitting in a cage next to Scotty when they first find him. And they explain the time change not just in the cave with Old Spock, but on the ship before that even happens. I didn’t even notice it the first time. The movie was better a second time; it definitely was not a waste of money.
Now onto Friday: The Day of Chaos. I, of course, had to go to school and that went by fairly well. Mr. Medaglia actually recognized that I was in class and didn’t accidentally mark me absent. But then I had to make up my Chemistry Test and try to catch up in Computers, both of which went horribly, after school. I had no idea what was on the test and I only did one thing after school in computers. Plus, I keep messing up the charts. I swear if my grade goes down I’m going to go insane. Only 8 more days of class, I can’t afford to mess up completely. I got home and was completely exhausted. I don’t even really remember what I did. I just remember that at about nine o’clock I started watching Jeff Dunham with dad and fell asleep during the Peanut skit. I woke up around one to Katt Williams. On Saturday I watched three episodes of Band of Brothers before dad left to go to Uncle Marty’s house. Then I went downstairs to catch up on my CSI, House, Bones, and Criminal Intent episodes. I was down there from 3:30 ‘til about 11:30. I fell asleep watching Criminal Intent. That was my Saturday, boring as usual. Then you already head about today. Tomorrow is Memorial Day, there’s a parade. Well that’s my weekend. Sleepy, full of TV, and another Star Trek experience; I’d say that’s a pretty good weekend. Next weekend is my driving test, wish me luck. Good night, keep reading and remember I’m Jackie and I don’t know crap. |
